Hey everyone,

I did an IM injection of methenolone enanthate in my upper ventro-glute like normal 5 days ago. Got significant PIP – and now there’s a sausage-shaped swelling (around 4×10 cm) that’s spread slightly toward my lower back. No redness or fever, but I’ve felt unusually fatigued the past day or two.

Just got labs back:
  • CRP is 35 mg/L [<8]
  • All hematology markers are normal except for some immature cells (myelocytes/metamyelocytes) slighty above range
  • Ferritin usually is in the 20-30 range is now 157 ug/L [22-355]
Could this level of CRP and cell response just be from localized inflammation/PIP, or is this more likely an early infection?

Appreciate any input.

CRP levels can also be elevated after illness even without symptoms (flu, cold, COVID) or inflammation .

Some bodies also react silently to oil.

But is it plausible that my elevated is due to the PIP reaction.?
(I know that CRP can be raised by several situations. But i have not been ill in any way)

The area around the injection site is swollen, sore and hard. I guess that in fact is sign of inflammation, right?
No sign of infection though

So yes. Especially if it lasts more than two days.

So don't worry, your CRP should decrease after that 😉👌
