Cutting cycle without side effects

I'm pretty convinced that most of our muscle shape and structure comes down to genetics. For example, my upper traps are fairly well-developed, even though I never really focused on training them. I just did deadlifts — that’s it.

Some progress. Not lean enought but pretty close.

I'm planning a 10w push phase after the cut (still 3 or 4 weeks I don't know exactly yet I don't have a precise date).

I've never tried it, but it seems like it's a good time to add contractile tissue. So, short 10 weeks with a different cycle.

Apart from the sometimes complicated management of fatigue and sleep, still no side effects 😁

I continue to do carb ups of +1000g of carbohydrates over two days, approximately every 10-15 days. Works wonderfully for me.

Neat 15k step ED
20min cardio post training 5x / week.

No more.

Very impressive, nice work so far 👏
What’s your diet like?
2300kcal on training days (5 days / w)
190gr Protein
235gr Carb
63gr Fat

The distribution is simple. The bulk of the carbohydrates are around training and then the rest are distributed (5 meals in total).
The food choices are classic. Chicken / lean red meat / broccoli / whey / oats / rice cream

1850kcal on rest days (2 days / w)
200gr Protein
105gr Carb
63gr Fat

I include carbs here for breakfast and last meal of the evening. I sleep better that way. The rest of the day I wait until I'm really hungry to eat.

It's low but I'm getting there. I've done two calorie drops, starting at 3000kcal ED, then 2500kcal, then added cardio, then more neat, and now I've been there for 3 weeks.

I started carb ups about 6 weeks ago which are made like this:
3900kcal for two days in a row on training days
200gr Protein
620gr Carb
70gr Fat

I really prefer rice cream on these days. Easy to prepare, not too much food volume for the stomach and digestion (which is necessarily slowed down in normal times)
The goal is to recharge muscles, get in shape, and feel more alive. Not to make a cheat day like someone with eating disorders. I still have some post-workout ice cream, it's nice in this heat.

Tnx for answering. Are you gonna try compete maybe?
Will you try to include some orals by the end of your diet?
And one more question 😆
What your rebound cycle gonna look like?

I'll never compete. I don't like the idea, I don't have the feeling for it.
I've been training for over 15 years (with some stop for one and two years. Life 🤷🏻). I do it for the love of the process and the effort.

No oral at the end. I don't need it and I absolutely need to be in perfect health for the rebound cycle. It won't be heavy but it's not the time to ruin your liver and other things just for a 2-week cosmetic effect.

Currently what is planned if my blood tests are good (oxidative stress and a whole list as long as the arm that I put below) then it will be:

  • 600-700 Test
  • 400-500 Bold or Primo
  • 200-300 NPP
  • 6-8ui HGH
  • Lantus 10-15ui
  • Metformin 500-1000mg
  • T4 100mcg

Then cruise at 150-200mg test + 3ui HGH.

The list of blood parameters planned for analysis:

Haematology :

Complete blood count (haemoglobin, haematocrit, red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets)
D-dimer levels
Prothrombin time / INR
Activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT)

Iron metabolism :

Serum iron
Ferritin
CTFT
Urinary albumin/creatinine ratio (linked to renal monitoring but also an indicator of vascular damage)

Liver and liver function tests v

ASAT
ALAT
Gamma-GT
Alkaline phosphatase
Total and conjugated bilirubin
LDH
Albumin

Kidneys and renal function :

Creatinine
Urea
Cystatin C
DGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate)
Potassium

Lipids :

Total cholesterol
HDL
LDL
Triglycerides
Apolipoprotein A1

That's quite an in-depth bloodwork. Mind asking how much do you pay for it?

I do it once a year, especially after a cutting phase. The rest of the time it's lighter and I stick to the basics or as needed.

For this one I should be between €320-€360. It depends on the laboratory prices
