Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice or shared experiences regarding blood pressure and cycling.
My Background:
I finished a one-year cycle of Testosterone Enanthate (250mg/week) exactly one year ago. I did a proper PCT, and everything went smoothly—blood work was checked every 3 months and looked great. However, I made one major mistake: I didn’t monitor my blood pressure during that time. Lesson learned.
Current Situation:
I’ve been off for a year now and feel good, but I recently started tracking my BP and noticed it’s a bit high.
• Daytime: 130–150 (SYS) / 60–70 (DIA)
• Evening/Before bed: 125–130 (SYS) / 60–70 (DIA)
It seems I have a high pulse pressure. I suspect this might be genetic, as high blood pressure runs in my family.
The Plan:
I’m planning to start another cycle of Test-E (250mg) after being off for a year. Given my current baseline, I’m a bit concerned about the systolic value creeping up even further once the water retention and increased red blood cell count kick in.
My Questions:
1. Has anyone else started a cycle with a similar BP profile (high systolic, low/normal diastolic)?
2. What did you do to manage it? (Specific supplements, cardio protocols, or even meds like Telmisartan?)
3. Are there specific things I should look out for given the wide gap between my SYS and DIA values?
I’d appreciate any insights or experiences you guys can share!
