È consigliabile aggiungere almeno 20 grammi di collagene per preservare tessuti connettivi tendini e collagene muscolare, perché l'inibizione della miostatina a livello recettoriale diminuisce con l'assunzione dell'inibitore, soprattutto ad alte dosi.
