I saw some videos about studies that show how much your blood type affects your side effects, I've seen that O blood types are the best for roids users, I'm O positive and I wanna know if you know anything about this and how much does it really affect your sides
I also know ppl irl who cruise on tren (and it doesn't have a lot of sides for them) but I don't feel like asking them face to face

Hi Barnk

That’s actually a very interesting question, and one that comes up every few years in bodybuilding circles.

The short answer is: there is very little solid evidence that blood type itself has a major impact on steroid side effects.

What people often notice is that some individuals seem almost “bulletproof” on gear, while others get hammered by side effects at relatively modest doses. The temptation is to look at blood type, but in reality the biggest drivers are usually:
  • Genetics related to androgen receptor density and sensitivity.
  • Aromatase activity (how much testosterone converts to estrogen).
  • Baseline blood pressure.
  • Hematocrit response.
  • Lipid response.
  • Neurotransmitter sensitivity.
  • Individual metabolism of specific compounds.
For example, I’ve seen O-positive guys who couldn’t tolerate 200 mg of Tren without insomnia, anxiety and night sweats, and I’ve seen A-positive guys cruising on Tren for months with surprisingly few subjective side effects.

Where blood type may have some indirect relevance is cardiovascular risk. There are studies suggesting certain blood groups may have slightly different clotting tendencies or cardiovascular risk profiles, but the effect size is tiny compared to things like hematocrit, blood pressure, LDL, HDL, sleep apnea, body fat percentage and overall health.

The “O blood type is best for steroid users” theory is mostly bodybuilding folklore. I’ve never seen convincing data showing that O-positive users consistently have lower estrogen, lower hematocrit, better lipid responses or fewer androgenic side effects.

As for the guys cruising on Tren: that’s one of the most fascinating things in this hobby.

Some people genuinely tolerate Tren extremely well. No insomnia, no anxiety, no aggression, normal libido and normal cardiovascular markers.

Others get destroyed by 100-150 mg/week.

What I’ve learned over the years is that response to Tren is probably one of the most genetically determined reactions in enhanced bodybuilding. Two people can run the same dose, from the same vial, with completely different outcomes.

The biggest mistake is assuming that because someone else cruises on Tren with no issues, you will too. Individual response matters far more than blood type.

If I had to rank what predicts side effects, blood type wouldn’t even make my top ten. Blood pressure response, hematocrit response, lipid response, sleep quality, anxiety predisposition and estrogen management are all far more important.
